The Sony Alpha 1 is the one camera designed to do it all. Built without compromise, this full-frame mirrorless offers high-resolution for stills shooting, impressive 8K video recording, speed and sensitivity, and connectivity for the most demanding professional workflows. Pairing the efficient stacked sensor design with optimized processing means the a1 is capable of 30 fps continuous shooting at full-resolution, 8K 30p, and 4K 120p 10-bit video recording, and still offers versatile sensitivity up to ISO 102400 for low-light shooting. The sensor's design also includes a 759-point Fast Hybrid AF system, which offers advanced subject tracking and Real-time Eye AF on humans and animals, even including a dedicated Bird Mode.
The camera's shutter design has also been revised and now offers full-frame flash sync speeds up to 1/400 sec, and flash sync up to 1/200 sec is even supported when working with the silent electronic shutter. At the rear of the camera is a 3.0" tilting touchscreen LCD and both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, with 2x2 MIMO support, offer wireless remote control and file transfer capabilities. The sensor also enables recording lossless compressed raw files for flexible editing during post-production while maintaining a relatively lightweight file size. Suiting fast-paced continuous shooting is a blackout-free viewfinder experience, which makes use of a 240 fps refresh rate for fluent eye-level viewing.
Making use of the high-resolution sensor and fast processing capabilities, UHD 8K 30p XAVC HS 10-bit 4:2:0 video recording is possible using the full width of the sensor, offering 8.6K oversampling for impressive sharpness and realism. The a1 employs a pair of codecs to suit different workflows: XAVC HS, which uses HEVC/H.265 encoding to retain more detail at smaller bitrates, and XAVC S-I, which is an intraframe codec for consistent performance and quality at bitrates up to 600 Mb/s.
Affording extensive customizable color and gamma controls, you can adjust the gamma, black level, knee, color level, and more. Also, users can use the same S-Log2 Gamma Curve that is found on high-end Sony Cinema cameras that squeezes up to 1300% more dynamic range into the video signal than traditional REC709, for increased post-production flexibility. Fast sensor readout and improved processing also enable up to 120 AF and AE calculations to be performed per second for faster, more responsive tracking and accurate results. Helping to fine-tune how the focusing system performs, seven-step AF transition speed and five-step AF subject shift sensitivity controls let you refine how quickly focus shifts from point to point and how smoothly focusing shifts occur.
Dual memory card slots both accept either CFexpress Type A or SD-type memory cards. The dual-slot design allows for flexible file saving and handling and can be configured to partition file types or can be used for overflow recording. Built-in Wi-Fi enables the remote camera control and instant sharing of imagery to mobile devices for direct sharing online, and support for both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands also enables wireless tethered shooting support.
This connectivity also provides remote camera control. When working over a wired LAN, the Remote Camera Tool 2.1 app now has been enhanced for a reduced release time lag and live view delays as well as support for remote SD card formatting, FTP server switching, and changes to the still image storage destination.

We offer free regular shipping on all orders. GadgetWard ships orders of any size to any address in Canada with no extra cost. To make sure you receive your order as quickly as possible, and with the greatest variety of cost options, we ship through Canada Post.
Orders completed at or before 7:00 PM (EST) will be packaged and shipped within 1-2 business day. Also we offer shipping with insurance.
Shipments and deliveries are processed on weekdays. Orders placed after 7:00 PM (EST) on Friday, or on a Saturday or Sunday, will be processed on Monday or Next Business Day.
Delivery times are based on our best approximations and cannot be guaranteed. Estimated delivery times for shipments to the CANADA are based on estimates from our shipping partners. Some shipments may be delayed due to remote locations and this will affect delivery time.
Tracking Your Order
With the exception of lettermail shipments, all orders can be tracked through the “Your Account” page on the GadgetWard Parts website.
To track your order, simply enter the tracking number you have been provided after your shipment was processed. If you have not received a tracking order, your order has not yet been processed.
Damaged in Shipment
If you receive a product that was damaged in shipment, please contact info@gadgetward.com within 24 hours of receipt and we’ll open a claim with the Courier Company on your behalf.
Please keep the box, the packaging, and the contents of the order to expedite your claim. Claims will require approximately two weeks for processing and replacements will be organized as needed.
Standard Return Policy for Electronics:
We accept product back under receipt of faulty product or DOA. We don't accept returns based on change of mind. It is customer's responsibility to notify us for DOA or Faulty product within 24 hours to get replacement or refund. Still wish to return within 30 days from the delivery date then we will charge 30% restocking fees on the total order price. Product must not have any scratch or dent and must be in returnable condition with all original package contents to qualify for full refund. With the exception of items damaged during shipments, customers are responsible for shipping charges when sending items back to our warehouse.

How to Claim Warranty?
- When customer gets issue in Product during the Warranty Period, customer need to contact us via email. We will provide shipping label to send product back to us, we will get it repaired from Manufacturer and send it back without any extra cost.
- Human error will not be covered under warranty.
- Any unauthenticated app downloading and/or flashing the product will not be covered under the warranty.
- Warranty resolution time: 3-4 weeks from the date of product received at our warehouse.
- Please note : Warranty Claims are being processed within Canada only. No Overseas shipment.
All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (In Particular Manufacturing Country) no matter where purchased by original purchaser with actual proof of purchase. The manufacturer’s warranty includes workmanship and materials but not normal wear and tear.
GadgetWard branded products have a limited lifetime warranty (unless otherwise specified). We will repair or replace at our discretion.
GadgetWard’s warranty provides coverage for defects in manufacturing only, and expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss and theft. The warranty is valid only at GadgetWard. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than GadgetWard will void this warranty.
GadgetWard disclaims any liability for consequential or incidental damages, for breach of written or implied warranty of an item, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
